I got it to work! I recorded directly onto a DVD in the camcorder and then played the DVD in my DVD player! There are my kitchen and my cats, on TV! 🙂

I’m not sure that’s how I want to do the kids’ movie…this camcorder will also plug right into the TV itself and also connect to the computer’s USB port. Trouble is, its mic picks up its own noise, and the mini-DVD makes noises. The camcorder also records to a memory card, which makes no noise at all. So I’m still thinking it over. But what a fun toy!
