Appearance and Article

I’ll be out at Albacon this weekend, from Friday, October 10th to Sunday, October 12th, in Albany, New York.

I don’t think I have a reading time, unless I can pick up an open space. Albacon’s scheduled Guest of Honor was Anne McCaffrey, but most unfortunately, she has been forced to cancel for health reasons. Her son, Todd McCaffrey, will be attending as a guest. This means that the schedule is still in flux (and my sympathies go out to the concom).

However, I am doing an activity with the kids’ program on Friday evening at 6:00 p.m. I’m planning to do some theatre games and then have us all make a very very short movie, like the grown-ups will be doing the next day as one of the convention events. I finally have an excuse to try out my new camcorder! On Saturday and Sunday I’m participating in three panels and moderating a fourth one, so I’ll be busy.

I responded to a HARO query about NaNoWriMo and the writer used my response. It’s a short piece (and she wanted a “statement” of 25 to 50 words–imagine describing NaNo that briefly!), but my photo and the link to my author website is there.
