Happy Saint David’s Day to all who are Welsh by birth, ancestry, or sympathies! 🙂

I couldn’t find daffodils, but I have leeks! I’m making “cock-a-leekie soup” for brunch…sort of. The only chicken in it is a bouillon cube, but it has leeks, potato, carrot, broccoli (okay, cabbage would have been more traditional, but less festive), and it’s simmering away and scenting the house. It’s just started snowing, very lightly. Enjoy some Celtic music today–and be sure you sing something. 🙂
