{"id":453,"date":"2008-10-08T21:33:00","date_gmt":"2008-10-08T21:33:00","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/vyrdolak.com\/wordpress\/?p=453"},"modified":"2008-10-08T21:33:00","modified_gmt":"2008-10-08T21:33:00","slug":"appearance-and-article","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/vyrdolak.com\/wordpress\/?p=453","title":{"rendered":"Appearance and Article"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>I&#8217;ll be out at <a href=\"http:\/\/www.albacon.org\" target=\"_blank\">Albacon<\/a> this weekend, from Friday, October 10th to Sunday, October 12th, in Albany, New York.<\/p>\n<p>I don&#8217;t think I have a reading time, unless I can pick up an open space. Albacon&#8217;s scheduled Guest of Honor was Anne McCaffrey, but most unfortunately, she has been forced to cancel for health reasons. Her son, Todd McCaffrey, will be attending as a guest. This means that the schedule is still in flux (and my sympathies go out to the concom).<\/p>\n<p>However, I am doing an activity with the kids&#8217; program on Friday evening at 6:00 p.m. I&#8217;m planning to do some theatre games and then have us all make a very very short movie, like the grown-ups will be doing the next day as one of the convention events. I finally have an excuse to try out my new camcorder! On Saturday and Sunday I&#8217;m participating in three panels and moderating a fourth one, so I&#8217;ll be busy.<\/p>\n<p>I responded to a HARO query about NaNoWriMo and the writer used my response. It&#8217;s a short piece (and she wanted  a &#8220;statement&#8221; of 25 to 50 words&#8211;imagine describing NaNo that briefly!), but my photo and the link to my author website is there.
