I still haven&#8217;t seen the Tim Burton re-make.  But I can&#8217;t imagine being <u>this<\/u> obsessive (from the Boston <i>Globe<\/i> DVD review page):<\/p>\n<blockquote><p><b>&#8220;PLANET OF THE APES: THE ULTIMATE DVD COLLECTION&#8221;<\/b><br \/>For those not getting their full simian fix from &#8220;King Kong&#8221; this week, along comes this 14-disc set featuring the series&#8217; five original movies as well as the DVD debuts of the live-action and cartoon TV spin-offs. Tim Burton&#8217;s 2001 redo is also included.<br \/><b>Extras:<\/b>The discs come in a bust-shaped package modeled after Roddy McDowall (no, geeks, not Cornelius&#8211;Caesar, his son).
