\nMortgage, because I want so badly to pay it off.<\/p>\n

A corner booth in a little Chinese restaurant that’s unashamedly retro with corny faux South Seas decor, really dim lights, and a flaming pu-pu platter on the table.<\/p>\n

3. Last time you puked from drinking? <\/font><\/p>\n

Uh…when I went to the Medieval Manor with a bunch of people back in the 80’s.<\/p>\n

4. When is the last time you got drunk and danced on a bar? <\/font><\/p>\n

Er…technically there wasn’t a bar<\/u>, but the “Tea Party” out at the 1985 Pagan Spirit Gathering was about as outrageous as I ever got while drunk and in public. I don’t think I’m the only person who could say that. *wry grin*<\/p>\n

5. Name of your first grade teacher? <\/font><\/p>\n

Mrs. Hedine.<\/p>\n

6. What do you really want to be doing right now? <\/font><\/p>\n

Answering this survey! I should<\/u> go to bed, I’ve been up for 20 straight hours now–and I’m not even sleepy yet. <\/p>\n

7. What did you want to be when you were growing up?<\/font><\/p>\n

I honestly can’t remember. “Anything but this,” was about the best summary of how I felt growing up.<\/p>\n

8. How many colleges did you attend?<\/font><\/p>\n

Four, if you count extension (but full-credit) courses at Middlesex Community College (computer programming) and University of Lowell (graduate level acting course).<\/p>\n

9. Why did you wear that shirt you have on right now?<\/font><\/p>\n

I’m wearing two sweatshirts because the temperature in my house is 56 F.<\/p>\n

10. GAS PRICES?<\/font><\/p>\n

When considered in relationship to the profits the oil companies are raking in: obscene.<\/p>\n

11. If you could move anywhere and take someone with you?<\/font><\/p>\n

I’d move to Lincolnville, Maine and take anyone who sincerely wanted to be with me there. (Well, the cats wouldn’t have an option.)<\/p>\n

12. First thought when the alarm went off this morning?<\/font><\/p>\n

“Okay, here we go.” I got up four hours early to take my dad to the airport.<\/p>\n

13. Last thought before going to sleep last night?<\/font><\/p>\n

How I needed to be sure and not oversleep and fail to take my dad to the airport. I didn’t sleep very well. \ud83d\ude41<\/p>\n

14. Favorite style of underwear?<\/font><\/p>\n

Cotton briefs .<\/p>\n

15. Favorite style of underwear for the opposite sex?<\/font><\/p>\n

Anything he’s comfortable in. I like the opposite sex out of his underwear, preferably.<\/p>\n

16. What errand\/chore do you despise?<\/font><\/p>\n

Mowing the lawns. *groan*<\/p>\n

17. If you didn’t have to work, would you volunteer at an art gallery?<\/font><\/p>\n

I might! I voluntered to help out with the art show at Dead Of Winter II fan convention (for “Forever Knight”) and I really enjoyed myself.<\/p>\n

18. Get up early or sleep in?<\/font><\/p>\n

That’s a trick question. I’d rather sleep all day and be up all night, but I keep to a very strict schedule. I never<\/u> sleep past whatever wake-up time I’m set to, no matter how badly I’ve slept or how late I was up. And I never slog around in jammies, either. It’s up, dressed, bed made, ready for the day, right away, every day. It’s not discipline so much as paranoia. I always feel that I could have to go running off to some emergency any minute.<\/p>\n

19. What is your favorite cartoon character?<\/font><\/p>\n

I don’t really care for any kind of cartoons.<\/p>\n

20. Favorite NON sexual thing to do at night with a girl\/guy?<\/font><\/p>\n

Have a really great conversation about intellectual subjects. <\/p>\n

21. A secret that you wouldn’t mind everyone knowing?<\/font><\/p>\n

If I wouldn’t mind everyone knowing, it’s not a secret.<\/p>\n

22. When did you first start feeling old?<\/font><\/p>\n

I’ve always<\/u> felt old. But I guess going to my covenmate Jody’s wake, and seeing him in the casket, when both of us were only 32 years old…that was a major turning point for me.<\/p>\n

23. Favorite 80’s movie?<\/font><\/p>\n

“The Big Chill”<\/p>\n

24. Your favorite lunch meat?<\/font><\/p>\n

I don’t really eat lunch meat. I love grilled cheese sandwiches, though.<\/p>\n

25. What do you get every time you go into Sam’s Club\/Costco?<\/font><\/p>\n

Don’t go there. <\/p>\n

Either. They’re each nice in different ways. I have access to a lake any time; but I live near the ocean and could, with a little more effort, go there any time.<\/p>\n

27. Do you think marriage is an outdated ritual that was invented?<\/font><\/p>\n

Absolutely, positively. Gee, someone read my mind! I don’t even believe in monogamy.<\/p>\n

28. How many people do you stalk on Myspace?<\/font><\/p>\n

No one so far. I’m just squatting on my nick on Myspace so far. I’m sure I’ll get around to it!<\/p>\n

29. Favorite guilty pleasure?<\/font><\/p>\n

“Dark Shadows” and 1950’s Biblical epics (Charlton Heston wearing practically nothing in “Ben Hur”…)<\/p>\n

30. Favorite movie you wouldn’t want anyone to find out about?<\/font><\/p>\n

*heh* I collect “penis movies”. If there’s frontal male nudity in it, I’ll collect it. Not porn, mind, regular movies with male nudity.<\/p>\n

31. What’s your drink?<\/font><\/p>\n

Unsweetened, very strong black tea, cold. Not iced, just cold. I keep two pots in the fridge at all times and drink at least a quart per day.<\/p>\n

I’m not big on Westerns.<\/p>\n

33. Cops or Robbers?<\/font><\/p>\n

Ditto for crime movies. I like the “Law & Order” shows, though, so I guess I’d say cops.<\/p>\n

34. Who from high school would you like to run into?<\/font><\/p>\n

I was pretty miserable in high school–I’d be more likely to run away from anyone I knew then. I just had a dream about one of my high school friends, though. I always wondered what happened to her.<\/p>\n

35. What radio station is your car radio tuned to right now?<\/font><\/p>\n

99.5, the new frequency for WCRB, classical music.<\/p>\n

Er…I’ve made so many relationship mistakes, I am a public menace. \ud83d\ude41<\/p>\n

I’m self-employed and work at home now, so if I see someone sitting across from me, it’s time for me to start worrying.<\/p>\n

I can’t say that in writing. I’ll end up in Gitmo.<\/p>\n

Only ones that wanted to have dinner with me.<\/p>\n

Only one that seriously wanted to sleep with me. I don’t fantasize about “famous people.” I’m turned on by other people being attracted to me–period.<\/p>\n

Oh, yes. There’s a very exciting story from the shelter I worked in, about that.<\/p>\n

How can you not read a book for real? I read Anne Rice’s Cry to Heaven<\/i> last fall.<\/p>\n

45. Do you have a teddy bear?<\/font><\/p>\n

Yep. His name is Oliver. I found him cleaning a room at the shelter and decided we were meant to be together.<\/p>\n

Once or twice. Try it sometime, it’s great!<\/p>\n

47. Somewhere in California you’ve never been and would like to go?<\/font><\/p>\n

Not really. I grew up in Spokane, Washington and we took a family vacation down through California one year. We saw lots of cool stuff, but now, you know, I’ve seen it. I’m not at all interested in going back.<\/p>\n

None, but not because I wouldn’t. I just have no one to text with.<\/p>\n
