My Chevrolet Aveo made the J.D. Powers and Associates list of the top 30 most enviromentally friendly cars!
Okay, so it’s not the most important news in the world, but I’m pleased. I love my Aveo! Right now I’m getting about 37mpg–that’s 15.74 km/litre, for all you folks who actually have a logical system of measurement. 🙂 Driving an enviromentally responsible vehicle is important to me, given that I have to have a car and can’t afford a hybrid.
I was astonished to see an advertizement for the Aveo on prime-time TV last night, too. It used to be that American car manufacturers barely promoted their compact cars at all–you had to research to find out what the models even were. I guess gas prices are changing that prejudice–which can only be a good thing.
