Back in the 20th century

Right, I said “20th,” because the furnace dates back to 1953. It’s fixed–or I hope so, it’s running now, at least. He said that a sort of sensor that detects when the burner is on or off had failed, and he changed the nozzle, as well. Now the cats can come out of hiding, *heh*. I have no idea what this will cost, they’ll send a bill. It’s not exactly an optional expense. But I waited until business hours and he was here less than an hour, so I hope it won’t be too bad.

Yanno…an oil burner is not the world’s most complicated piece of machinery. But it seems to have more shit that can break down! Oh, well, I shouldn’t complain!
