Pagans v. Christians in Scotland

Interesting controversy in Scotland at the moment: University of Edinburgh is hosting a Pagan conference amid complaints of discrimination from a Christian organization. It seems the Christian Union group was denied permission to mount a presentation of “the dangers of homosexuality” and now feels the University is displaying a “double standard” by allowing the Pagans to “have their say.”

It never ceases to amaze me when Christian groups continue to promote themselves as some kind of persecuted minority! You would think they envision themselves as blissful innocents being thrown to the lions in the arena on a daily basis!

The Pagan event sounds great, wish I could go to Edinburgh!
