Allan MacDonald
1932 ~ DECEMBER 6, 2019 (AGE 87)

Northborough - Allan W. MacDonald, 87, died peacefully with his family by his side on Friday, December 6, 2019 at UMass Medical Center in Worcester. He was born in Worcester, raised his family in Northborough and retired in North Grafton.
After serving in the United States Air Force during the Korean War, Allan spent most of his career working as a printed circuit board designer. He was a fifty-five year member of Rice Memorial Baptist Church in Northborough where he served as a deacon and on numerous committees. Nothing gave Allan greater joy than spending time with his family.
He leaves his beloved wife of 62 years, Louise (Stone) MacDonald of North Grafton and their four children: Scott MacDonald and his wife, Carol Belliveau, of Winchendon; Sandra MacDonald of North Grafton; Gayle (MacDonald) Keller and her husband, Jay, of Northborough; and Linda (MacDonald) Ash and her husband, Jim, of Northborough. He also leaves nine grandchildren, five great grandchildren, and three brothers.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, December 11th from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Rice Memorial Baptist Church, 85 Lincoln Street, Northborough, followed immediately by a Funeral service at the church. Burial will be at a later date.

Janet 'Jan' Ray-Thompson
NOVEMBER 9, 1961 ~ DECEMBER 10, 2019 (AGE 58)

Janet (“Jan”) Ray-Thompson, 58, of Fitzwilliam, NH died on December 10, 2019 at her home, with loving family supporting her through a 4-year battle with 2 different cancers. She was born on November 9, 1961, daughter of Donald and Lois (Blaisdell) Ray.
Jan was born and raised in Gardner, MA, and graduated from GHS in 1979 and then Boston University in 1983. She lived in Wilbraham, MA for 2 years before moving to NH when the Farnum Rehab Center opened in 1986. She lived in Acworth, Troy and then settled in Fitzwilliam in 1996.
Jan loved being an Occupational Therapist for over 35 years, first at Berkshire Rehab at Mercy Hospital in Springfield, MA, and then Cheshire Medical Center / Farnum Rehab as well as in the public schools and at Home Health Care and Hospice of Keene. When not working, volunteering in the community or raising her children, she could be found teaming up with Barry, her husband, her love, her person, with many home projects, including digging out a cellar, re-siding the house and rebuilding a garage, to name a few. They even built from-scratch a little camper! She also spent time camping, sewing, quilting and flower gardening. They participated in the Gardner Relay for Life for 27 years and began the Keene event in the 90’s. The Red Sox, pets and home have always been important to her, as well. They were also lucky enough to be able to travel together and with groups of friends and family, a special joy.
One of the greatest privileges God can grant, Jan always felt, was to be a Mom, and later a Grammy. After mentoring her own through school, and they were off on their own, she “adopted” the Sunday School kids to get her regular Kid Fix. First active in the Richmond Community Church, and then at the Rindge UCC for the past 7 years. Jan has served on many committees, fundraisers and community service projects. Jan’s and Barry’s faith is very important to them, and they tried to use that to help them through tough times and also used her love of God to help educate the young folks to be good people.
In addition to her parents and her loving, devoted, husband Barry, all of Fitzwilliam, survivors include her two sons, Andrew (Andy) Crawford of Swanzey and Benjamin (Ben) Crawford and his wife Katelyn of Guilford, NH. Additionally, grandsons Wyatt and Clay, her brother Phil Ray and his wife Cindi of Winchendon, MA and her former husband, David Crawford of Ludlow, MA.
A send-off celebration will be held on Saturday, December 21, 2019 at 1:00 PM in the First Congregational Church of Rindge, 6 Payson Hill Road, Rindge, NH 03461. Rev. David Jadlocki, Pastor, will officiate. In lieu of flowers, please make memorial contributions in Jan’s name to the Youth Program at the First Congregational Church of Rindge.

Francis Roch Gagné
SEPTEMBER 12, 1950 ~ DECEMBER 4, 2019 (AGE 69)

Francis "Frank" "Rocky" Roch Gagné, 69, of Leominster, MA passed away suddenly on December 4, 2019 at home. He was born at the Lucy Helen Hospital in Fitchburg to the late René & Eva (Sauve) Gagné. He was raised in Fitchburg, MA where he attended St. Joseph's Elementary School and Notre Dame High School. He continued his education at Bentley University where he majored in accounting. He was a retired Certified Public Accountant and worked in both the public and private sector, most recently at Schonbeck & Vostok LLP.
He is survived by his wife of 45 years, Jean Anne (Harrington) Gagné; daughter, Darcie (Gagné) and her husband Stephen Hughes of Stoughton; son, Barry Gagné & wife Allyson of Saugus; son, Peter Gagné & wife Lauren of Worcester; daughter Nicole (Camire) and her husband Michael Brown of Winchendon; brother, Roger Gagné and his wife Pauline (Raboin) of Leominster; brother, Normand Gagné and his wife Patricia (O'Sullivan) of Leominster; brother, Richard Gagné of Fitchburg; 6 grandchildren: Kyle, Austin, Kylie, Keira, Brysen and Gabriel; and several nieces and nephews.
Francis was predeceased by his brother Robert Gagné of Diamonhead, MS and his sister Pauline (Gagné) and her husband David Hurley of Leominster.
Frank was a big sports fan supporting all the "home" teams. One of his most treasured moments in sports history was when the Red Sox finally won the World Series in 2004. He also took great pleasure in watching his kids and grandkids play sports. With a bit of persuasion, he even coached Darcie's soccer team for a few seasons. He loved to go fishing whenever he could with his sons and brothers and play cribbage with them when not out on the water. He was a collector; he loved hats, crazy holiday ties and old coins. He also loved US History and had a strong thirst for learning. According to his best buddy, Brysen "he loved to make people laugh and he loved dogs" especially his beagle Izzy.
He was an active participant in St. Leo's Parish and the Leominster community. He never missed a church bazaar, fish dinner, festival, parade or fireworks display. Jean and Frank found an enjoyment for traveling where they recently made trips to Ireland, France and Disney with the family.
He was a big supporter of the Tour de Cure, a charity ride for diabetes that his kids rode in every year. He made annual contributions and traveled every year to support the ride that funded the American Diabetes Association. He was a very generous person and supported any charitable organization he could.
Calling hours will be at the Silas F. Richardson & Son Funeral Home, 106 West Street, Leominster on Tuesday, December 10 from 4-7pm. His funeral mass will be held at St. Leo's Catholic Church at 108 Main Street, Leominster on Wednesday, December 11 at 11am. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Diabetes Association or the American Heart Association in memory of Frank.

Elaine R. Willson
MAY 27, 1937 ~ DECEMBER 5, 2019 (AGE 82)

Elaine T. (Duvarney) Willson, 82, a longtime resident of Surry, passed away Thursday, Dec. 5, 2019, at Westwood Nursing Home surrounded by the love and support of her family.
She was born in Winchendon, Mass., on May 29, 1937, the daughter of Mildred (Blondin) and Richard Duvarney. Elaine grew up in Winchendon and attended school there.
On May 29, 1958, at the age of 21 she married the love of her life. The couple moved to Surry, where they built a life and family together.
In her early years of marriage, she was a homemaker raising her four children. When her children were older and attending school, Elaine became an LNA. Several years later, Elaine went to work at Schleicher and Schuell, where she was an Assistant Supervisor until she retired in 1999.
Upon retiring, she and her husband traveled across the country in a motorhome, visiting many National Parks and other places of interest. Elaine loved to travel, and they spent winters in Florida and their summers in New Hampshire. Elaine also loved camping and boating, but her greatest love was that of family.
Elaine is survived by: her husband, Carroll Willson, of Surry; a son, Rick Willson, of Surry; two daughters: Karen Britton of Keene; and Darlene Willson Davies of Agawam, Mass.
In addition, she is survived by six grandchildren: Angela O’Reilly and her fiance, Mike Rice, of Swanzey; Brianna (Abare) Laroe of Westminster, Vt.; Brandi (Abare) Whittier and her husband, Joseph Dylan, of Swanzey; Kassandra Willson of Keene; Kyle Willson of Keene; Alex Davies of Ludlow, Mass.; and eight great-grandchildren.
Elaine is also survived by two sisters: Collette Racine of Troy; Jackie Lefebre of Winchendon, Mass.; and extended family and friends.
Elaine is predeceased by her daughter, Susan Willson, who passed away in August 1996. Elaine is also predeceased by two brothers and a sister.
In keeping with Elaine’s wishes there will be no services. However, a Celebration of Life will be planned for later this spring.

Carlos E. Delarosa
OCTOBER 19, 1961 ~ DECEMBER 10, 2019 (AGE 58)

WINCHENDON – Carlos E. Delarosa, 58, of 41 Town Farm Road, died unexpectedly Tuesday, December 10, 2019 at his residence.
He was born in Brooklyn, NY on October 19, 1961, son of Carlos Delarosa of Kissimmee, FL and Lucy (Ainese) Gardner of Leominster. He grew up in New York and later graduated from Ayer High School in Ayer, MA. He had lived in Winchendon for the last several years.
Carlos worked for 25 years as a truck driver for Allied Systems. An avid hunter and fisherman, he also loved cars. He was a member of Winchendon Rod and Gun Club and the United Parish and had been a foster parent for seven years.
In addition to his parents, he leaves two children, Jobe R. Delarosa and his fiancé Gracie Daly of Winchendon and Taylor E. Delarosa of Leominster; three stepchildren, Maria Brasili of Leominster, Sarah Brasili of Fitchburg and Brian Brasili of Ashburnham; three sisters, Elizabeth Nicosia of Andover, Nettie Colvin of FL and Charisma Delarosa of NY; his former wife, Theresa (Hill) Delarosa; six grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. A brother, Anthony Delarosa, predeceased him.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, December 21, 2019 at 3 P.M. in Stone-Ladeau Funeral Home, 343 Central Street, Winchendon. Calling hours will be held Saturday from 12 P.M. to 3 P.M. preceding the funeral.
Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery in the spring.
