The Year (and a half) in Science
« on: May 05, 2014, 01:29:39 PM »
What's happening out there?
What are the coolest new advances in 2013 and the first half of 2014?
What has hit popular media and are we interpreting it correctly?
Is there anything major that was overlooked by the news?

I'd be glad to sit on this one. I did a similar panel at Arisia.

I'd be interested too.  I could cover topics in physics, mathematics and computer science, there have been a lot of major developments in these in the past year and a half that could affect all our lives the near and even far future.

Cheers,
