 8)  What makes a monster great or a flop?  What are the best monsters?  Why are they the best?  Be prepared to defend your monster.  And seriously why do they keep taking out New York?

Your Mistress of the Dark, Susan Hanniford Crowley

Come on!  Let's tell the truth on this one.  Let's talk about those we admire, those that are so hot, and why would we want to be a super hero or heroine.  What power would you want?  Why?  Let's have fun with this!

 8)  Why Does Horror Survive as a Genre?  What is it about horror that attracts us?  What keeps us coming  back for more.  How Has it Changed? Has it changed for the better or worse?  Has what scares us changed?  What are our worst fears now?

« on: April 13, 2014, 06:48:07 PM »
 8) A serious and not so serious discussion of Vampires: Past, Present, and Future.  Are they morphing into something else --worse--better?  What do the legends teach us?  Let's really get into the teeth of the topic and explore where we would like to see vampires of the future go?  Can science create the better vampire?

Sit in a circle and create something truly frightening together. I'll start is and at the worst possible moment, I'll pass it on.  Each person will get the chance to make a horror of delicious proportions.  Let's see if the hero or heroine gets out alive.

Alt-Lifestyle Panels / Edgar Allan Poe Tea and Discussion or Panel

Having tea and light refreshments, we could have an informal discussion on the works of Edgar Allan Poe and his influences on future authors.  Or we can have a Panel.  I LOVE Edgar Allan Poe so I would LOVE to be on it.

 8) This would be a tea with light refreshments, an informal group discussion of Edgar Allan Poe and his works and how he has influenced generations of horror authors.

Without the tea, it could be a panel.

Back in 2005 at WorldCon in Scotland, it was called a Round Robin and was very well attended.  I went to the horror zombie one at midnight.  It was a lot of fun. :)
